I'm lucky in a way, my friends all put up with me, in spite of my "opinions".   While I consider myself to be a conservative, I have friends that are not.  That being said, I get to hear their reasoning or arguments for what they believe.  When from time to time I have actually closed my mouth and listened, I think I hear we all have the same hopes and dreams.  The difference comes, in how we "get there".

I don't have the time, or the inclination really, to do a breakdown on all the "finger pointing" going on.  We can suffice it to say that while there is NO clear answer to America's core problems.  There is a starting point.  Leadership. The elected officials have been slapping a band-aid on issues requiring surgery.  Our countries problems have been building for years, they didn't arrive overnight and we're not going to rid them overnight either.  What we have to do is "peel it back".

Yes, this will cause more problems.  What America is founded on, is in the preamble of the Constitution.

"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America".

The problem we have, is many Americans are ready to toss out the constitution.  You hear all kinds of things about how the constitution is outdated, ok, what about the preamble?  I might be going out on a limb here, but it seems to me, this is exactly what everyone says they want.  Do I have any argument?  Nowhere will you find the word "guarantee" in the preamble.  There are no guarantees!  What we must decide as a country, is are we going to stick with what has been working for over two hundred years, and made America the greatest country on earth, or are we going continue to move away from the rules that allowed for it.

The "moving away", has caused the issues we now face.  Evil is alive and well, power, greed and corruption are crippling us.  It can be found on both sides of the aisle and in every race and religion in America and damn near every other facet as well. We must each decide where we stand.

The constitution and the bill of rights, are the foundation of America.  It should not change.  Accountability from our leadership is where we need to start. Right now Big business and Big government are holding us hostage, because absolute power, corrupts absolutely.  And it has indeed!  If you are a democrat, republican or some other party or an independent you need to get involved.  You have to be involved.  It's going to take a grassroots level movement to fundamentally "fix" America.  Some already exist but should not be limited to only a handful.  Many people didn't think that they could be cohesive enough to do anything, and then you look back on election of 2010.  They were wrong.

In a democracy, it's majority rule.  We the people, are the majority. Now we need to put it in action.
Obama, must understand that we are ready for real change and that the rules are changing.

And my crystal ball says............"Holy Shit.....Run!!"

Yep, this is my first post election, post.  I'm not a happy camper, but am not I frothing at the mouth with hysterical anger either.  So to my detractors I hope you feel vindicated, I lost this round.  My hope is that America has not been lost forever.

On election night I was working out of state on the pipeline.  I was keeping up with the returns using my Twitter feed.  Now let me say this, after the debates I was feeling very iffy about Romney's victory.  When Americans failed to see how uninformed our president is, and how petty he is willing to be, and all of this with the full support of main stream media.  I knew it was gonna be close.  It was becoming clear that this election had two possible outcomes.  I had in fact, told several people that it would be extremely close with a BO victory, or Romney would walk away with it.  My gut instinct ending up prevailing and BO won a second term, this unlikely scenario brought us here today.

America is either in it's final death throes, or it is in the latter stage of an incurable terminal illness.  Why?  Because if your really cannot see the divide in this country, and our direction, caused by the BO administration, you are truly an idiot.  I think most votes came from emotion and the Hollywood sales pitch glamorization by the main stream media.  Call me a racist, but Obama was pushed over the line this time around because of the Black vote, sure many Hispanic and Whites also voted for him, but the the Black vote was significant, because without it, he would have been defeated.  In my opinion, the only reason most blacks voted for BO is because of his color, not his qualifications.  Call me what you will and that is fine, but I am a realist.

My crystal ball say's "Run for your life!".  The amount of gun sales has gone crazy and if you look at the ammunition sales, OMG!!!  Ammunition sales makes the gun sales look like a failure in comparison.  I really feel that we will begin to see armed conflict in our communities.  It will be caused by racial tension and rising poverty levels.  Thanks BO.  You wanted a race and class war, well looks like that could be reality, look for a "police state" coming to place near you soon. When main stream media did not denounce the people suggesting violence if Romney was elected, it was the wake up call I needed.  The left will jump on any form of "gun control" band wagon, and yet missed this great opportunity.  I also realized that there is no accurate description for the left anymore.  You could call them the "shot gun left" for more reasons than one.  You certainly cannot call them the "party of intellect", because none have actually thought through four more years of this administration. So .... they, you, ... whatever, have all bought into the fairy tale of BO.  The definition of insanity has never so clearly fit an election.

The left is taking us down.  It is done out of ignorance, greed, and blind faith in a pied piper that couldn't find his ass with both hands.  We will  see mass defections from the BO faithful in the new year, and four years to come (like that pun), as things get worse.  Eventually even the most hardened idiots will begin to see through the lies.  The economy is going to continue to suffer under Obama care, which has become more apparent with the recent layoffs attributed to the costs created by Obama care. beforeitsnews.com/.../latest-layoffs-due-to-obamacare-pennsyl...   The unions cut their own throat with the "Hostess" fiasco, more Dems without jobs.   I have a feeling this scene will be replayed many, many times.  Hopefully you will wake up while there is still time on the clock and you still have job.

Oh, and what about Libya?  They are dragging this out so Americans will become so fed up with hearing about it, it get's tuned out.  If you are intelligent and you are a realist, you should understand that it was another failure of BO.  Our ambassador was murdered and our president hid the facts.

This is not the America I was born in.  This is not the America I want.  There needs to be a requirement for everyone on the left, please understand simple economics. The slackers have taken over and I don't want to pay for their party.  My crystal ball says......"Holy Shit....Run", but that just ain't me, a democrat........ maybe.

There went the "BOOM"!! Romney 1, Obama 0.

Yes, Kevin James is a lefty, still he makes me laugh and this is not about the movie.  Yikes, Mitt Romney did indeed drop the hammer on the POTUS last night.  I stayed at home to watch the debate, so not to be influenced by anyone's thoughts or opinions.  I kept wondering to myself if it was just me, or did Obama look rattled?  The further the debate went along, the more obvious it became, Obama didn't have anything.  He was slammed.  While Romney was articulate and forceful, BO just kept blaming Bush and repeating the mantra that Romney's math was wrong.  BO look pissed, defeated, and ashamed, kind of like I have this past four years.

Round one goes to the challenger.  Now I find myself wondering how low the left will go, Axelrod has no shame.  I agree with Sarah Palin, the left is going to try and bring some payback.  I don't think it will happen in the debates though, Biden's debate with Ryan will most likely be a fiasco with Joe's penchant for going off the script.  We all know poor Joe couldn't find his ass with both hands.

In a fair and honest world this could be the end for BO, unfortunately, in THE world we live in, politics and pundits have no shame and the words, honor and ethics, are only hollow definitions.

You can't handle the truth!

Back in March of this year, when Rick Santorum was still alive in the primaries, I blogged about the bias of the media. Today, the things being propagated by the left as a whole is just plain infuriating. There is a simple answer to all this.  However, the caveat, there is no easy way to overcome this debacle.  The truth is that any conservative American is going to have to make some very difficult choices for any real change.

The best way to victory in America is to put your money where your mouth is.  Most of the middle class America that I know, don't really understand this concept. Those that do must face the reality of how difficult this choice becomes. Most of us don't have "time" to deal with the raging National issues, while we struggle to put out the every day fires in our own lives.  The bills, the rising cost of everything from gas to groceries. Worrying about layoffs, the economy, the deficit and the foreign issues that could literally blow up over night.  To much uncertainty.

Most Americans main source of news information is through television and their friends.  This is a problem because neither are very accurate.  It takes to much time to wade though the BS.  Who really wants to "google" every statement made in the "news", to verify the source and the context?  Much less to investigate further documentation.  It is too expensive in our daily "opportunity cost", what are we willing to give up to accomplish and find the "truth" we need?

"Vote with your dollars", sounds easy.  It is not in reality.  For instance, I have had a yahoo email account for almost 15 years. While I despise yahoo and everything it stands for, I am still reluctant to change my email address.  My comfort zone is comfortable.  Who wants to pay more money for something made in America when we can go a block to Walmart and buy something at a fraction of the cost.  All of the "less" expensive options we have in our daily lives will eventually cost us much much more, perhaps America as we have known it.  This applies to the information we receive as well.  Cheap, easy to get, news and information is most likely "spun" to benefit the ideals of those publishing it.

The choice is ours America.  We get what we pay for, one way or another.  The truth is expensive, and I ask you?  Can you handle the truth?

Pawlenty of Shame!!!

Tim Pawlenty just bitch slapped all of us, especially the Republican party.  He tossed his credibility out the window. The former Minnesota Governor, and as of today, ex-chair of Romney's election campaign, took a job as CEO of "Financial Services Roundtable".  What does that mean and why does it piss me off? Well let me tell you.  This guy was a Republican presidential candidate. This guy, claimed to represent the blue collar "Sam's Club voter", the working class.  This guy, he spoke on all the evils of politics while pointing his finger at the Democrats.  This guy, he jumped ship from the Romney campaign during the final two months of this election. Why?  To take his new 1.8 million a year job.  In financial services...BANKING of all things....  Hello!!!!  No Honor, No ethics, great for him and his family, not so much anyone else or the ideals he spoke of.  What would have happened if we elected him President?  If he has no honor at this level, there would have been none at the next.

This is another reason we need to hold ALL politicians accountable.  The more I think about it the better a single term sounds.  We need to cut their pay and benefits.  This has gotten so far out of hand that it is going to take drastic measures to repair.   They work for us, they hold our check book.  Are you happy with the job your elected officials are doing?  Pawlenty got this job because the good people of Minnesota elected him to that office.  In that position, great offers come along that otherwise would not.  A president of a software company and a labor attorney from Eagan, Minnesota, would never end up on K Street in Washington D.C.

I am an Independent Conservative, and this kind of Bullshit is exactly what is wrong with politics.  You take Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, you know they are going to screw you because nothing they say ever makes sense.  I can live with that.  You take a guy like Pawlenty, this guy is a bigger pile of shit than Reid and Pelosi put together, throw in Barney Frank and it might be close.  When you profess you idealism and beliefs on a public forum, then a few months later you trample the very words you spoke, there is an inherent problem with that.  Beware of Karma Pawlenty, I for one hope it bites you square in the ASS.  I bet all of your political cronies would like to kick your lying ass.  Just wanted to say "thanks" for the black eye you gave to us conservatives as well.  Good luck with the Karma thing too!

Sad Times they are.....

I find it hard to fathom what has happened to America.  Just read a reprint article in "Pravda", it was an opinion piece.  It's a sad day when a Russian Op-Ed can point to how Marxism is devouring our country.  As much as I slammed Romney, I pray every day that this man can defeat BO.  This administration has lowered the American standard to the point where we're going to have to decide how much we're going to take.  I cannot fault BO with everything, our own complacency has certainly contributed to our situation, as so boldly pointed out by Stanislav Mishin in the "Pravda" piece. How stupid are we? I mean really? Has this joke of main stream media really brainwashed so many Americans? I do not understand how anyone with any reasonable intelligence can buy into what the media and this administration have to offer, absolute zero. The lies and cover up, over this latest foreign policy disaster which caused the death of four Americans, is outrageous! They do not have a viable plan, they have not had one in four years. The deficit is at 16 trillion and counting. Unemployment is at 8.1% or 11.2 depending on who's view you want to take. The economy, what economy? Foreign policy, a joke. There is big trouble brewing world wide, and I pray to God that we get divine intervention to keep a nuclear war from happening. Iran and Israel could be the place, or even China and Japan, God forbid that it be an Islamic terrorist setting one off. I hope that all Americans are concerned with the issues we face. Our appetite for entertainment and debauchery reminds me of another place at another time, the great Roman Empire. If you getting your information from only one or two sources, your uninformed. Get off the couch and examine what we have, and what we have to lose. There is a lot at stake for the future of our country. From Texas by

Letter to the "Houston Chronicle Viewpoint" - Which you will never see!

I want to preface this with, I really disagree with almost everything the Chronicle has ever published in it's editorial pages.  I also find it extremely funny, that in order to have my viewpoint published I must yield my name and location, and yet the Chronicle allows editorial writers to publish anonymously.  WTF?

This is my most recent email.

More Conservatism please.

Krugman, Pitts, PHK, AP, Reuters, Rick Casey, who fortunately retired, and most every other editor, etc...  I am so tired of reading all the BS you publish with such a liberal slant!  Rarely are any of them representative of my opinion, or beliefs.  I think the Chronicle owes it's readers more than a hand full of conservative columnist'.  It amazes me how you allow incendiary articles to continually be published with out EVER a conservative rebuttal.  Grow a set, Houston Chronicle, or really set yourself apart and have some ethics and start covering a conservative dissenting opinion.  With all the recent leadership changes I have read about, one would think you might figure it out!  It might even stop some of the bleeding.  By the way, Beverly McPhail should be tossed on top of the heap, her article on racism was laughable, people living in glass houses shouldn't be throwing stones.  KMLWA Ms. McPhail!

It doesn't take a wizard to notice how much the Chronicle has shrunk in both accuracy and physical size over the past few years.  I thought with the demotion of Jack Sweeney, we might see some interesting changes.  Has not happened.  Perhaps the downward spiral will continue.  I will continue to read this liberal drivel until it goes or I go, whichever occurs first.  But, I'm betting I will be around long after it's gone, and that is not good speak of a Newspaper.  I cannot believe I left out E.J. Dionne, I can hear him sucking from here.

The Resilience of the Right!

After trying to grind my way through six year old pig slop, in the form of "The Good Fight', by Peter Beinart, I had to walk away. The book is subtitled "Why Liberals-and Only Liberals- Can Win the War on Terror and Make America Great Again".  After Pres. BO's three years in office, he has pretty much refuted all of the points Beinart was trying to establish, with his apologies, inaction and general discourse.  Once again, it will be up to the "Right", to correct the "Misadventures of Barak "Barry Soetoro" Obama" and the lunatic Left.  We can only hope that the comedy of politics, or what is known as the Republican primaries, will right itself and allow independent conservatives to vote BO out on his ass.

If I learned anything in the book, it was that if left alone and unattended long enough, the Left will surely eat there own.  They have done it time and time again, and yes, Beinart points to a few examples.  Unfortunately with the times being what they are, we do not have the luxury of waiting for the Left to implode.  True, the signs are there, but they may be a bit premature and only driven by the fact that this is an election year.  But trust me, there are many on the Left who are very unhappy with Pres. BO.  Not to mention most of America.

If you read independent blogs from both sides, the picture is much more clear.  You will not find the rabid follower of BO in as great a number as the National Media, I don't pretend that they do not exist, because certainly there are those as well.  What you will find are supporters of BO that have doubts, the ones that are able to think rationally.  Most of those that still blindly support him, have remained, only because they have taken "ownership of his administration's failures, and they take it personal.  I have friends that are Liberals, before BO was elected they were compelled to attack me for the failings of the Bush administration.  Now, most have regretted their decision, while the others no longer speak to me.

What does any of this have to do with anything?  I am talking about the fringe voters.  The ones who put BO in office, not the mainstream.  Who are these people?  They are the ones that most people never see or think about, the fuel for America's engine.  The poor, the blue collar, the immigrants and the elderly.  The ones who must face the painful hardships on a daily basis, that this administration has inflicted upon us all.  Starting with unemployment and it goes down hill fast from there.  The price of gas, the price of insurance, the price of food and housing.  The left might still blame it on Bush, but the people are not still buying it.  The Fairy tale is about over, the shit has hit the fan and reality is right in our face, there is No Santa Clause!

This election is Good vs Evil, while the right certainly has problems, fundamentally it has always served the best interest of all Americans, something that cannot be said of the left.  Many people do not realize the sad history of Democrats and the left in general, on racism and communism, how about women's rights?  Woodrow Wilson, a Democrat and the president who was opposed to women's right to vote, capitulated in 1918 and in 1919, the 19th. amendment passes.  The list goes on and on and on.  When the lies and the smoke clears, most people realize that the Left can never deliver on their promises.  You don't get anything for free in life, someone has to pay.  Unfortunately, the Left has yet to realize that simple fact.

The Right is only handed defeat when the wheel comes off the track.  What I mean by this, is that in the real world, bad things happen.  It is not always the fault of either party when these things occur. However, I feel  America always seems to prosper under conservative leadership, not so with liberal. Disagree with me, fine.  All I ask is you do a little research, study a little history, and then prove me wrong.

Harvard Law School Pride....maybe not.

Maybe it's just me and my southern upbringing. If I were a graduate of Harvard Law School I would have some major issues with the way things are going. I grew up hearing about how a Harvard education was one of the best that money could buy. From what I have seen and read lately, there has been nothing that would make me proud to be an alumni.

The same can be said for Texas A&M and UT for their little scrum over UT's sports channel, but the Aggies who place so much pride on "tradition", refused to schedule more competition with the Horns, that cost them credibility, a lot of credibility.  I digress, it seems to me while the list of Harvard alumni is eclectic, some real idiots managed to graduate.  After reading over that list, there should be a law that a Harvard grad is ineligible for presidency.  I'm even suggesting that I would bet money there are a few out there with only their GED, that could run circles around some of these people, and yes, I know George Bush graduated from Harvard Business.

I find it funny that Hillary Clinton ( a Yale Law grad) would compare the GOP to middle eastern religious extremist, when clearly it's her own party that shares a much closer comparison.  That said,  I am speaking to the Bell and Obama video. Since the video emerged, all I have noticed is how far left, and how radical, all of these involved Harvard grads are. Then the amount of spin to try and cover for Obama. The lies that the left are willing to stoop to, are becoming laughable. So much so, on Bell's Critical Race Theory. Wikipedia withdrew their definition while it under went verification after Soledad O'Brian used it's definition, only to be bitch slapped from Brietbart.com's Joel Pollak.

It looks like this new “vetting” by conservative websites, individuals and social networks is gonna bite the left in the ass. If your not aware, there is a growing campaign. It seems that with the passing of Andrew Breitbart, there has been a call to arms by many social conservatives and bloggers. The slogan “ I am Breitbart” is getting more and more traction as each day passes. Perhaps much of this can be attributed to the many eggs the left has has dropped recently.  You will also notice the rage with which they respond.

Speaking of, Obama continues to drop in the polls, even in some of the Democrat controlled polls such as the PPP. Did you find it interesting that David Axelrod canceled a scheduled appearance on Bill Maher's “Real Time”, after the blow back from Maher's statements about Sarah Palin and the 1 million dollar campaign donation. Obama is trying to distance himself “after the fact”. Obama has consistently said one thing today, and then turn around and done the opposite the next day.

It still surprises me that the only press to to address the Obama administration view, that the assassination of an American citizen is OK, is Leonard Pitts. A columnist for the Miami Herald. Wonder what would have happened if Bush would have tried that tact? At least Pitts, a racist, lefty in my opinion, was against the decision of the administration. I have to give him kudos on today's article because I have NO problem bashing him for his racism. If your jaw has dropped, I am referring to the “death by drone” assassination of An-war al-Awlaki. Was he a good guy? No.  Still, he was an American citizen and still entitled to his constitutional rights.  Maybe there is hope for Pitts yet.

An observation, eventually there will be “mainstream” attention to the al-Awlaki murder. Think of what it opens the door to. One power I hope the left never has at it's discretion, much less the far right, is the power to murder with out due process.  Then again, we know how Obama feels about the constitution.

We've made it to that time in an election year when my friends on the left start to distance themselves from me.  Not all but many.  It came earlier this year and perhaps even bloodier, oh well, the gloves are off until November, so be ready.
Gonna end with kudos to Joel Pollak, very nice job on O'Brian.

The Left, No sign of Intelligent Life

Awhile back on this blog I stated that I was going to try and be a bit less radical about the ignorance of the left.  What was I thinking?  In an election year when all the trolls of idiocy come crawling out!  Yep, was a very stupid mistake on my part and I admit it.

What brings this about, you may ask.  I have become an information and news junkie or maybe junk newsie because that is all that is being reported.  Maybe it was Ana Marie Cox that triggered it with her "Guardian" piece and the idiocy I read there.  I really don't know, can't say.  Maybe it was the lack of class on the left.  Maybe I set myself up for having unrealistic beliefs in things such as truth, ethics, morality and honesty.  I really thought that I couldn't be the only one that was sick and tired of pointing out all of the biased and one sided ways of the left., wrong again.  So, I just want to tell you about some of the idiocy I have heard lately from the left.

Constance Hilliard, professor of African Studies at North Texas State.  She said that the American soldier who murdered the 16 Afghans, committed this atrocity because of Rush Limbaugh.  You really want someone with this kind of thinking, teaching your children?  Not me, but then I am a conservative.

Ana Marie Cox, a liberal blogger who once had her life saved (literally) by Greta Van Sustreren.  She states that her "Liberalism" has strengthened based on the  Public Policy Polling (PPP).  This organization is ran by Dean Debnam, a Democrat and political strategist.  Blind following the blind.  NOT to say that the poll results are incorrect, but I think you should know the political ideals in order to "weigh" your opinion of the source in order to make an informed decision.

Soledad O'Brian, CNN pundit.  Just google the video of her interview with Joel Pollak of Briebart.com.

Associated Press (AP), failed to mention that in February 2012, the US deficit reached it's highest point ever of $232 Billion under the Obama administration.

Steven Chu, Energy secretary in the Obama administration.  While I give him a "Duh" for reversing course on fuel prices, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know Chu was wrong in the first place.

President BO, where do I start?

Lake County Fla. Democratic Party, these knuckleheads actually raised a flag with President BO's image in place of the "stars", and the flag was made in China.  Thanks to local veterans the flag was removed.

Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State in the Obama administration.  Compared the GOP to religious extremists in the middle east.

These are some of our leaders in government, media and education.  It scares the hell out of me to realize these people are in charge.  I could go on and on with this but frankly, I'm bored.  It's become common place for this BS.

I also have some good news, Rick Santorum is making headway in the GOP primaries.  Hopefully he will continue on this track, I would not have been happy to vote for Romney.  While I don't agree with Santorum on all of his views, I do support the majority.

Prez. BO milks the Texas cash cow, again.

Well it was better than I thought, check that, dreamed possible.  Our big eared Prez was in Houston yesterday milking the cash cow.  What would you say if Rush Limbaugh charged $500 dollars for a handshake?  How about $10,000 for a photo with El Rushbo?  Friggin crazy huh?  Whoa now!  It's really not about Rush Limbaugh so untwist your panties.

Yes that's right kiddo's, it was Mr. President.  According to Joe Holley's March 9, 2012 Houston Chronicle article, BO was in town to whore his self out.  Check this according to Holley.
" In Houston on Friday evening, he (Obama) will be dining with Democratic elected officials and some 60 well heeled supporters from around the state who will have paid $38,500 for the privilege.
The private event is sold out.  At an afternoon event at Minute Made Park's Union Station, he will shake hands with folks who paid $500 for the privilege, or $10,000 if they want to pose for pictures with him".  According again... to Holley, he banked 2.7 million, to go with the 3.4 million he had already received from Texas supporters.  Wow, there are some idiots in my home state.

Call me crazy, but by my definition of the prez is a "Ho".  Point is, had anyone with any sort of conservative attribute attempted this, in THIS election, it would have made MADstream media headlines.  In this instance it was relegated to the city and state section of the Chronicle.  By the way this news paper is as far left as you can get, and continues to shrink, and Mr. Holley worked previously at the Washington Post.  Draw your own conclusions.

Sad to say, but it's looking alot like BO is gonna get another four years, to many old school repubs just have not figured out that Romney "is" the Democratic candidate.  The left is in a win-win situation if Romney gets the nomination.  But really, does it matter what the American people want?  It hasn't since BO took office, doubt that it will now.  And the educated left elite wonder what is up with the "Soveriegn Citizen" movement.  Hold on folks.... more to come.

*************************************************************************************

On another note, I highly recommend checking out http://www.breitbart.com/, as I have always preached, please get your information from as many sources as possible.  It will keep you from looking like the madstream media when you talk, you know, stupid.

Lastly, am I the only one who thinks it is suspiscious the Mr. Breitbart talks about videos and vetting BO, then dies of "natural causes".  I hope some one is at least looking in to it.  Conspiracy theories again.  Hmmmm.

Maher, Stewart and Colbert... three stooges

Do you find it funny that all of the left wing nut cases, such as the three slobs mentioned above, seem to think they know what is best for the rest of us?  If you happen to fit into the left/dem/prog category, once again I would point out that you have no credibility.  Why?   Here goes, so please pay attention.  I have never been a fan of Rush Limbaugh, in fact I have felt he was just a highly opinionated, egotistical blowhard, a bit further over the line than myself.  I have listened to his show on occasion, and have always found myself thinking Rush to be conservative, but an asshole never the less.  If I could buy him for what he's worth, and sell him for what he thinks he's worth, I could buy out Soros.  We all have ideas, or at least most of us do.  Given a platform like these idiots, anyone short of a trained monkey could pull it off.

My gripe?  People on the left do not understand fairness, truth and integrity, not to mention morality.  True, there are conservatives who fit in that category, but not as whole, such as the democratic party and it's supporters.  They fail to remember all of the anti Bush rhetoric, of which continues to this day.  You want to be able to say anything with no accountability, while at the same time disallowing the conservatives the same freedom.  The most recent example being that of the media attacks on Limbaugh for calling the law student a slut.  That was over the line, now he's got to deal with it, and it does not look good.  Let me make it clear that I oppose her views on contraceptives and transgender procedures being paid for by taxes, not just no, but HELL NO!!!, and FUCK YOU!!  Please don't despair good conservatives, you can bet that there are many people ready to take his place and his sponsors.

The point is, Bill Maher has talked about Sarah Palin in the crudest ways possible and it goes unnoticed by his peers, free reign to do and say as he pleases, does it make the news....never.  Now you can look at  that in several ways.  The extreme lefties need an idol, and maybe that's it, or maybe his own peers don't have any respect for him anyway, so no need to put him in the prime time glare.  He might embarrass them.  Stewart and Colbert have zero respect for the conservatives as a whole, that's fine.  Earn your living off cheap shots and vulgarity, however boys, if you want to play with fire, don't cry when you get burned.  Remember Keith Olbermann, the fourth stooge, who finally was banished?  Where is he now?  Folks on the left, live and breath for these village idiots and have no idea they are about to revisit Jones Town at some point in their lives.

Hey people, it's a business.  I promise you, all pundits are only there for the money, prostitutes in a way.  Ask to them to do it for free and see where that gets ya.  Eventually each gets caught up into actually believing in their own self importance.  That's when it gets ugly and most crash and burn.
I'm ready for a new crew.  Andrew Breitbart, if your looking down here, throw us good conservs a bone.  It would really be interesting for the conservatives to control the media for awhile.  In the mean time, I will carry the flag.

So, I just wanted to vent today and here is what you got.  By the way, I never heard if the "Colbert Report" ever made it back on the air.  Anyone know?

To President Hamid Karzai and the people of Islam.

Preface,
I was very inspired yesterday.  A friend and I decided that we wanted to go to the local “Gun Range” for some target practice.  While understanding it was the weekend, I had no idea how crowded it would be.  I also had no idea of the many types of weaponry available to any citizen, nor how many weapons one citizen would likely own.  It was but one gun range in America, but if statistics do not lie, there are major problems for the anti gun crusaders, much less the enemies of the American people.

I once read a quote attributed to Japanese Admiral  Isoroku Yamamoto, "You cannot invade the mainland United States.  There would be a rifle behind each blade of grass".  I don’t know if that is a true or correct statement, but I do know that many Americans own many weapons, and they are practicing.

With that experience under my belt and reading about the continued violence over the Koran burnings in Afghanistan, I decided to write to the President of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai.

President Karzai,

Please stop the violence over the Koran Burning!!

I know only what I have read about, concerning Islamic culture.  As an American, all I read or hear about from the international press, is that Afghan people and almost every other Middle Eastern country resents America and the West.  Mr. Karzai, I do not understand.

America, while having many faults has only tried to improve conditions and at minimal, relationships with the Middle East.  Money and technology, has that not improved your country somewhat?  Have our Universities not given your people the opportunity to improve their countries and their own lives as well?  Have we not tried to be diplomatic at unrealistic cost to protect your own government.

Help me understand the resentment you have toward us.  Why can people from all over  the Middle East come to America and demand policies and opportunities that they are not allowed in their own countries?  Why can an Islamist speak of hate and murder toward other religions, declare us “infidels” and burn our Holy books and flags?  Please explain that.  How can an Islamist cry foul when the same things are applied to them as they have done to others?

Mr. Karzai, I am growing tired of your problems.  Your problems have been our problems and I think many Americans are nearing the end of ANY Middle East support.
This Koran burning was a terrible thing and a desecration to Islam, but how far must you go?  People of Eastern descent in America complain about being targeted and profiled, but an American in the Middle East must fear for their life.

Islamist people have murdered innocent Americans because of this incident.  That never happens in America.  However, I am not so sure it will not become more likely.  I see what the current administration has done to American pride and spirit.  I also see the emerging recovery of the American people.  The time is coming when you can no longer blame America or the West for the corruption of your people Mr.  Karzai, because  freedom is not corruption.

I believe in tolerance, I believe it is good for all.  I believe in you Mr. Karzai, having the right, to have your own beliefs.  Yet how can a person of Islam ask me for tolerance, when they have shown none?  How can a person of Islam ask me for respect, when they have shown none.  How can a person of Islam ask me for justice, when they have shown none?   My Bible does not teach hate, murder or revenge, it does teach “an eye for an eye”.  Where do we draw the  line?  You and your people need to take and accept the responsibility for the extremism you have caused and for ending it.  The people who can make the most difference in the least amount of time and start the healing between the people of Islam and the rest of the world, are you and your administration.  However, you must start now and you must lead by example, because your words have been hollow.

The Middle East should be the land of milk and honey with your strong beliefs and the oil resources available to you.  Yet it is the land of the desolate, the dominated and the defeated, whose only victory lies in the ability of the war lords to maintain fear and oppression in the people.  You say you do not want to have "occupiers" in your country, neither do I, yet America has many violent Islamic terrorist.  I do not see where Islamist are deserving of any credit for progress or peace.  You are unable to get along with one another, much less do you possess the credibility to establish any trust based relationship with the people of the United States.

Mr. Karzai, before you awaken the sleeping giant of the unrecognized population of America, please save the peace and please stop the violence over the burning of the Koran.

Just Vote ..in November

After reading all of the fair and balanced media reports, including FOX, it seems like Romney might win the GOP nomination.  Well conserves, we get what we deserve.  This is exactly why I became an independent.  There is still way to much baggage left over  in the old school GOP party.  The GOP is stale and will eventually become insignificant if there is no new blood pumped into it.  The Dems/left/progs have the younger generations and that is bad news for the GOP.

What is the good news?  Maybe it's time for a third party to really have a chance.  Could be one of those out there right now, the Green Party, the Tea Party, who knows.  However if Obama wins the 2012 election, and he is very confident, I think the door will be wide open.  So while we could possibly have a painfull short term, with an Obama win, it could be the start of something much better for America, and that is a new Party.

History tells us that the conservative base will expand again as the youth of America get bitch slapped with the reality of home life and paying bills.  That transition period of idealism to realism, as careers and children are born.  The left will expand, as P.T. Barnum once said,"there is a sucker born every minute".  Only the innocence of youth is an excuse for being a dem today.  The smart ones figure it out in time.  The repubs are the isolationist party in the sense that it is more of the country club atmosphere, and like a country club, all the "ism's" are present.  There is no perfect party and there never will be.  You must choose how you align yourself politically, based on your own ideals and beliefs.  Some call me a "fence sitter", which I laugh at, I call myself an independent thinker.  If any party dictates to you, how to live your life, what is best for you, much less who to vote for, friend you are in the wrong party.

I am not so sure that if one lives long enough you can not go a complete circle politically.  As we all know, views change with time for most people.  I call myself conservative today because those are my core values, God and family.  I also support liberalism because I can think out side of the box and some great ideas come from the left.

Here are my hopes.  We as a nation need to weed out ALL of the idiots that are lifetime politicians.  We need people like Bobby Jindal of Louisiana to become our national leaders.  People that are REALLY there for the best of their neighbors.  People who are committed to doing the right thing foreveryone, not only themselves.  If you, like myself, find yourself dissatisfied with the current state of political affairs, you can make a difference.  People ready to do a little more than stick a toe in to test the waters, can change the world, but you must go all in to do so.  So please, whatever you do and whatever your beliefs, just vote.. in November.

5 more years, say what? Todays Bottom 10!

10.   Obama, just because.
09.   Mitt Romney, please go away, Teflon daddy.
08.   Newt Gingrich, more wives than Muhammad.
07.   Bill Mahr, the next Keith Olbermann, and his million for Obozo.
06.   Afghanistan and Karzai for killing Americans for the Burning of the Koran.
05.   Iran, for all the evil that it practices.
04.   Hillary Clinton because she truly has become totally clueless.
03.   Mick Jagger for performing at the Whitehouse and saying it was "just another gig".
02.   Roger Goodell, for the salary he collects from the NFL.
01.   George Soros, because where would we be with out him?

Why, right?

01.  George Soros, this ancient bitter man, he is a believer of the chaos theory. He understands that if you can create hostilities internally and externally, it will all eventually break apart. You just have to have the money and the time to make it all happen. Soros has the money, but, I'm bettin he don't have the time.

02. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell earns money like he was the Superbowl MVP. Hey all of you
ex NFLers with concussion issues, think of the treatment you could get with just half of his salary.

03. Jagger is a self absorbed musician, which is fine in my book. However, the Whitehouse event was
not just another gig, unless he said it because Obama is president, then I would agree with him.

04. Hillary Clinton, her biggest change is behind her. Her ass! She needs to stay away from the state

dinner s and try a little exercise. Maybe she stays on the road to stay away from Bill. I'm betting
there is no love lost here.

05. Iran is the best illustration possible to verify the No. 6. They point the finger at everyone else

while they lie to your face. I predict rubble before resurrection.

06. You know what, while the haters of America want apologies for the accidental burning of the Korans

in Afghanistan, and the rage continues to grow. Where is the friggin anger for the two Americans
murdered by a coward Islamist. This purportedly "peaceful" religion only breeds hate, intolerance and
and complete ignorance.

07. Mahr, speaking of looking like a goober, this guy looks like he lost every fight he was ever in. Which

I also suspect is probably the truth, so I can understand his anger issues. Besides I fail to see the
humor in his comedy. He stands for everything I oppose. Obozo loves his money.

08. Newt, he should have kept it in his pants, proof that "powerful" men can look like an overweight

goober and still have the sex life of a pornstar.

09. Mitt either wears a hair piece or uses some old school hair spray that keeps his hair looking like a

helmet. He also, like Obama, can "spin" everything right off his back. The whole time he is taking
it to the bank.  Do as I say, not as I do.  Think he knows what is best for you?

10. Obama during an interview with Univision, stated that he had 5 more years in office. No, you will not see it in the "national media",  because Obama is their boy.

Racism and politics, the recipe of Hate!

Hi, good morning!  I know that just reading the title alone sounds creepy, it might even send a chill up your spine.  I'm betting that as you read it, you thought back to the most alarming personal experience you have ever had with racism.   It was the "H" word that triggered that response, especially with the words that accompanied it. I would hope that after reading this opinion, each of you would take a moment and turn it over in your head.  How do you deal with it, what are you doing about it.  Racism is alive and well and I am afraid it is gaining momentum.

I admit, I have used racial slurs.  I honestly think that most of us have, I would go as far to say, I think racism is in each of us to some extent.  We have been conditioned all of our lives by our families, our friends, schools and our environment.  Think of the media, the arts, government and yes, even our places of worship.  In each of these examples, how have they impacted racial issues?  How many positive programs have they provided and finally, how many were successful?  I realize it is a highly complicated issue and that the variables are unending.  The absolute most horrific aspect of racism, is that is a learned trait.  Have you ever thought about that?  How many of us has stood over our children as they have slept, and while gazing upon their innocent forms, wished evil upon them?

The other day I decided to go back and read all of my postings.  Yeah, I live an exciting life!  But really, I discovered that my writing, though quite often it may suck, my opinion does come across illustrated.  To some, I am racist myself.  To them, I would say that would not be an an unfair criticism.  However if actions speak louder than words, then judge me by my actions.

The truth of the matter is that racism is the pink elephant in the room.  Based on observation, for the most part, people want to be around others like themselves.  Is that a fair statement?  Sure there are always the exceptions, but think about it.  Start with color if you want, then income levels as another and so on.  In my opinion income is the largest deciding factor, everything else is just trickle down.

In real life we all have to deal with it in some shape or form, I think my issue is trying to keep fair standards across the board, and yes I feel like Sisyphus.  Am I realistic?  Maybe not.  But I will tell you this, I do not harbor any "white guilt".  Slavery was terrible, is terrible.  Many people died in the Civil war to help bring an end to it, Abraham Lincoln abolished it with the Emancipation Proclamation  on January 1st, 1863.  That is when the work began.  Was it fair?  Hell no, but life isn't fair!  In my opinion it does not give the black race an endless freedom to use it as an excuse.  That is what it has become.  Think about the term "race card' and how it is used.  Think about non blacks, and how all are held to a higher standard when it comes to "racist speak".  In order to move forward, you must let go of the past.

How do you defend your self against being a racist and racism itself?  It is difficult to do so with out coming off as being the very thing you are arguing against.

******
This was found on Yahoo, and is attributed to "The Blaze - Saturday February 11, 2012".

"Jackson previously made political headlines in October, when he agreed with fellow actor Morgan Freeman's assessment that the Tea Party was "racist."

“It’s pretty obvious what they are,” Jackson said in an interview with New York Magazine. “The division of the country is not about the government having too much power. I think everything right now is geared toward getting that guy out of office, whatever that means.”

Jackson continued, “It’s not politics. It is not economics. It all boils down to pretty much to race. It is a shame.”

******
Politics and racism feed off each other, voices are raised and fingers are pointed.

The shame is, there is NO such thing as equal accountability.  As I have stated before, one person can make a difference, but two can change the world.  Care to join me?

Keeping it real... Obozo / Baghdad Bob, the spin Bros.

I had a revelation this morning, and Obozo was at the top of the list.  I don't know about you, but I  was unable to watch the entire state of the union campaign speech.  If after the past three years, you feel our president has done ONE good thing for America.  Your reading the wrong blog.  He has flip flopped and failed in almost every aspect.  He has pushed his agenda against the majority, bashed the constitution, lied about taxation and pushed us so far into debt, that generations to come will be impacted.  Now he's reversed his opinion on super PAC's, why?  M-O-N-E-Y!!!

Obozo is our American version of Baghdad Bob.  Do you remember that idiot giving us daily reports of how the Iraqi's were kicking the sh!t out of American forces?  All the while the Iraqi military was being annihilated.   Now, Bob is living safely in the United Arab Emirates, off the map, out of sight and completely irrelevant.  Personally I felt sorry for him, on the other hand I figured it was a matter of time before a bomb, got the best of Bob.

Turns out, Obama will be irrelevant in January 2013.  While ol' Barry runs around taking bows for the economy gaining a little steam and the unemployment rate dropping.  Please don't jump to any conclusions.  People, it is an election year!  Americans are ready to put Obozo OUT ON HIS ASS!  What we are experiencing is consumer confidence, everyone is feeling good because real change is about to occur.  Anything "good" right now is due to the fact that people feel BO is on the way out!

Keep this in mind.  Obozo is still blaming the previous administration for his administrations failings, he did so during the state of the union campaign speech, remember? Now, as the left tries to steer the vote for their GOP candidate, ie... Romney, don't fall for the BS.  For the next nine months, all we will see and hear, will be photo ops and spin on how well BO has been for America.  Numbers will be manipulated and used out of context, much like the facts of his administration's "success stories".  Spin, spin, spin.

So, it's sad that the only GOP candidate NOT smeared by the left, is Romney.  That should tell you something if your paying attention.  I promise you that we will see new revelations about republican candidates.  For them, more accusations and skeletons will emerge, anything to keep the light off BO.  As we know, without a teleprompter, he has foot in mouth disease.  Since this is an election year and the media will be in mass, we might even witness a few "oops" moments for the BO campaign.  You know how he gets when that cockiness comes out and he leaves the reservation.  We've seen him for the idiot he is, and I for one understand why we cannot find any paper trail of his education or his birth place.

BO has bought into his own spin, just like Baghdad Bob.  The reality of election night 2012 will be like a cold slap in the face, the false facade of popularity will crumble and the rats will scramble for the shadows.  BO and MO will have pulled a fast one on America, and will slip off to the elitist life style they always rejected in public.  The fortune he stole from the American people will be of some comfort, and I'm thinking his "speech and business leader" career will not quite pan out.  I guess with out an honorable reputation, a life of irrelevance and a legacy of false hope and failings is all you have left.

Thanks for the black eye on America Barry, no pun intended.

Thaddeus Matthews, outspoken or racist?

Wow!  I was surfing the net this a.m. and came across a news article on FOXNEWS.  If you have never heard of radio station WPLX - AM, out of Memphis, then google it!  Thaddeus Matthews, the DJ and  owner has garnered quite a bit of attention after twisting off on Charlotte Bergmann.   Ms. Bergmann, who is black and a Republican congressional candidate, was being interviewed by Mr. Matthews on WPLX.    You can read it here,

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/02/03/outrage-subdued-after-dj-gop-congressional-candidate/

Let me tell you what I did.  I called the radio station.  A voice answered and I asked whom I was speaking with.  I was asked who I would like to speak with and I answered, the station manager.  The voice said "your speaking to the station manager", I said great, I have a comment on Mr. Matthews recent interview with Ms. Bergmann.  Well, at this point it went south.  I was told that I was speaking with Mr. Matthews and that he had no further comment.  So I asked him if it was because I was white?  Did I bait him?  Maybe, but it was not my intention.  He told me "no" not because I was white, but because I was a "Motherfucking Ass".  My response was "Thanks, love ya brother", at which time he hung up on me.  Yes, I have been called that before or something very close anyway.  My point is, I was trying to get another angle on the story.  I was interested in "his side" of the story.  Needless to say, that did not happen.

So what was it?  Racism or being outspoken?  It seems to me that our war on racism is going nowhere.  We can point blame in every direction, and we're all to blame.  I certainly do not have the answer, but I know there is a problem.  My one request would be for all of us to be held to the same accountability, and rules.  No, I'm not going to go into the "what if" questions and comparisons.  That has grown old and tired.

I read somewhere that "white guilt" is dying, and I do believe it to be true.  The blame for this I lay squarely on individuals like Mr. Matthews.  When you have double standards, you perpetuate racism on all sides.  For the record, Mr. Matthews did make an "on air" apology of sorts for using white racial slurs, but at the same time standing firm on his use of black racial slurs toward Ms. Bergmann.  In the end, Mr. Matthews will take the heat for awhile.  I expect someone will come to his defense as well.  Imagine how many phone calls like mine he will receive and how that will only infuriate him more.  I guess only his sponsor's will have the option of supporting this type of discourse or decide against it.  Keep in mind that this the media after all.

Kaiserslautern ... and a FB friend request.

You know how with FaceBook, some old friend,  lover, or even a relative can pop up out of nowhere?  Some good, some bad, some embarrassing, speaking for myself anyway.  Earlier this week I got a "friend request" like that.  The back story.  During the Vietnam war, my uncle was stationed in Kaiserslautern, Germany.  He fell in love, got married and lived there, for awhile.  Being just a kid at the time, I remember wondering what the hell a "Kaiseslautern" was.

He was an artist, an American artist in Germany, and he found quite a bit of success there.  It sounds like the perfect, romantic love story.  American boy meets German girl, they fall in love and live happily ever after.  Well, it's not quite the way it turned out, and it was unfortunate.  This brief story is the result .

My Uncle Ted was "The Man" in my eyes.  He was my fathers younger brother, a multi-sport athlete in high school, and he excelled in all of them.  He was my idol.  The classic small town teenager and star athlete, so of course he had a way with the ladies too.  My definition of "Cool".

My memories of Ted were two fold.  Before he left, and the return home.  Before he was drafted I recall our fishing trips to the dam on Lake Tyler, which happened to be where he introduced me to chewing tobacco, and cigarettes.   The greatest all occurred many years later in Galveston, Texas, but that's another story.  I do remember the holidays when we would all be together.  The most significant early memory was when he was preparing to leave for war.  We we're  at my grandmothers home in" Wilmer - Hutchins", a small town just south of Dallas.  My grandmothers house was on a hill overlooking interstate 45.  In those days with no a/c , we would spend a lot of time outdoors on the porch.  We enjoyed the breeze and spent time talking and watching the big rigs passing in the distance.  I can still clearly remember those sounds and smells.  It was in the late 60's and the war was beginning to wind down. Still, soldiers were dying and my Grandmother was a widow about to send her youngest child to war. Even I could feel anxiety at the thought of something happening to Ted.

After basic training, Ted was stationed in Kaiserslautern.  Our news came by letter to my grandmother or the occasional long distance phone call to my Dad.  He had met a woman, and they were to be married.  We were all excited and everyone was so happy for Ted.  The chance to meet her took much longer than we anticipated.  They did not come back to the states immediately after he was discharged.  I'm not sure how long it was before we met Bridgett (Not her real name), but they did come visit us.

When I met her, it was adolescent lust, I immediately had a huge crush on her and her accent.   She was absolutely gorgeous.  The marriage started off well, Ted worked for Bridgett's father who owned a construction company and things were going fine.  It was his creative side, and his early interest in sketch, oil paint and water color, that prompted a new path.  His hobby  became business.  Success followed and one thing led to another.  Eventually they opened an art gallery and began to travel all over Europe. I later learned that Ted had a become a European celebrity of sorts, and maybe this was the beginning of the end.

Their divorce was the first  in my family, ever.  Sooooo, how does he respond?  I heard stories of three day parties and weeks that disappeared on train rides.  As I grew older and we became close, he would confess to heavy drinking binges and and blackouts, but never any explicit details.  All in all, he never really explained anything.  He had remarried a wonderful woman who loved him and cared for him and the past was the past.

Upon the the move back from Germany to Houston, I noticed a difference in Ted right away, like he was preoccupied or something.  Little did I know, that he was suffering a broken heart, or my conclusion anyway, he never told me what happened or why.  He just stumbled through the rest of life with little or no excitement, no drive.  We still had some great times but it was not the same.  I tried a few times, when we would be sitting in a boat fishing and drinking beer, to get him to tell me about Bridgette, but he never would.  I asked him if he was still in love her,  as I thought he was.  He would never confirm or deny, he just managed to change the conversation.

My recent encounter on FaceBook brought all these thoughts and emotions roaring back.  Never has anyone made me laugh like my uncle Ted, I have so many fond memories of him.  I would have done anything to ease his pain, but was never able to.  Ted died in 2003 of heart failure, hmmmm? His wife called me, and when I arrived she was there alone with Ted, no coroner or police or ambulance.  I walked into the small home cluttered with Ted's art supplies and paintings, and made my way to their bedroom.  He was lying on his left side with his arms folded and he looked very peaceful, almost as if he were in deep thought about an art project or what was, and what might have been.

One day I hope to make a trip to Kaiserslautern, to speak with Bridgett, and see first hand what so inspired my uncle.  The place where he began to fulfill a young mans dreams of love, beauty and passion.  There is no doubt he loved it there, and had things been different, I am sure he would have remained.  Life is funny.  If I'm lucky, maybe I can visit, and experience my uncle again.  I knew him well and I loved him, but I wish I could have understood him better.  I look forward to time spent in a small smoke filled "biergarten" in Kaiserslautern, left to my own thoughts and imagination.  Get a better insight on my uncle, the ghosts of yesterday and the possibilities for tomorrow.

Michelle Obama, in my opinion.

I tell you what, I could have really drawn this out.  Please keep in mind this is my opinion based on my observation of the Obama administration.  I decided just to make it as brief as possible, and tell you my thinking about  Michelle Obama.  Strong, articulate and driven?  For certain! On the surface, an angry black woman?  Absolutely!  Opinionated, vain and unattractive? Yes, yes and perhaps, not overly attractive, not "butt ugly" either.  Fashion Icon?  Role Model? UH NO!  Who ever gave her these titles needs a bitch slap, a written reprimand and a memo to the department!  The woman is very intelligent, in fact she tutored her hubby at one point.... Red flag? We are told she was born in Chicago, and you can make an interesting case for that being a bad sign, at least politically.  That is if you lean towards truth, honesty and integrity.  A very rare commodity in Chicago politics.  She had to walk up hill, in the snow, to school.... both ways.... er whatever.

College, it was Princeton, and Sociology and African American studies, yep, for real. Giggle giggle. Starting to get the picture? Graduated Cum Laude, not the best of the best, anger builds.  She opposed the very class that she aspired to become, what is wrong with this picture? According to Wickipedia, in July 2008,"Obama accepted the invitation to become an honorary member of the 100-year-old black sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha, which had no active undergraduate chapter at Princeton when she attended".  (Can you imagine Laura Bush accepting a membership to a "White Sorority")?    Besides, sounds a bit elitist to me, and something she claims to disdain.  If most of your life has been spent with issues of "in service" to others, helping the poor and needy, and pontificating about changing social issues and norms for the greater good of our country.  What happened when you got to the Whitehouse?  Did you forget?  Sounds like fraud to me.

I for one am tired of hearing about our great 1st lady.  Please!!!  Look at the amount of tax dollars she has spent on entertainment and travel.  That's a real eye opener, and if you think about it, it is probably much, much more.  Again, what was that about the poor? I digress, she is the dominant partner in the marriage and she is the brains of the family.  I think she is the main influence on most of our "Obama Policy".  I look forward to all of the books that are starting to come out now, and so far their insight is a sad first legacy, of the 1st Black Family.  How's that for change.

It seems to me that MO hates to lose at anything. She was ashamed of America before BO was elected, how does she really feel now?  The election of 2008 sold many people on idealistic change, of which zero was accomplished.  I admit it sounded good, but so much of it was/is unreal.  I voted for McCain or better, against Obama.  What has the Obama administration changed?  They were able to bring racism back to the forefront, and that has divided this country terribly.  They tanked the economy with outlandish spending, and for laughs apologized for America and all of our country's... faults.  They went against the popular vote on damn near everything.  That my friends is not democracy at work.  Honestly I know of no positive thing that this administration has done.  Oops, I take that back.  It has caused Americans of all walks of life to become more involved in politics.  Grass roots organizations of all types have sprung up and are involved, to that I say thank you. Yawn.

2012, election year.  I think Obama supporters were able to sabotage Herman Cain's election campaign. Why? MO hates to lose.  Now as the left tries to manipulate the voting options of the right, we're seeing the Whitehouse in panic mode.  I look for it to get increasingly ugly the closer we get to November.  Starting to night with BO's state of the union address.  For the rest of the year we will hear BO taking bows for anything that is even remotely successful in America.  MO will push him in every area, because she's accustomed to being the "Great American Queen".  In the end, all of those lied to in 2008 will remember.  Single term president, and as I have stated before, Jimmy Carter will be elated.  Because of this embarrassment, not only are they the first, black "1st Family", but may also become the first divorced, black, 1st family.  How apropos. Michelle Obama in my opinion, is a racist sellout, but not the first.  Confusing?  Not really.

Leonard Pitts : On Religion.... yeah right!

I cannot believe that Leonard Pitts, one of the greatest proponents of racial hate and intolerance is coming to Houston.  Guess what he will be speaking on?  Religion in the 2012 election, hahahahaha.  This guy, has nothing to offer.  The symposium is free while you will be expected to pay $20.00 for the pleasure of hearing him speak at "Congregation Emanuel El" later that same evening, go figure.

If you've read any of his work, and obviously people other than myself have.  He is racist, anti white and liberal/progressive.  To find out that he actually claims membership to a house of worship boggles my mind.  At least it did until I saw that it was called "African Methodist Episcopal Church", had it been called "Caucasian Methodist Episcopal Church", he would have taken a different approach, trust me on that.  For myself, I don't want to be taught "religion", I want to be taught the bible, and I feel I know the difference.

Unfortunately, it's people like this guy that have so many people screwed up and missing out on so much.  If your interested in this jack ass, google him, you will be surprised.  He will not respond to the challenge, all he will do is follow the cash, it's the season to be opinionated and he's well payed for his opinion.  He manipulates his own people for monetary gains, while he so brazenly points to the white man as the oppressor and manipulator, in short, he is a fraud.

If you would like, you can find earlier pieces I have written on Mr. Pitts in this Blog.  Once again, another hindrance to improving American race issues, along the lines of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Rev. Wright.  The greatest thing to know is that "the truth shall set you free", no that is not a Martin Luther King quote, it is the Gospel of John, chapter 8, verse 32.  However the quote I would offer to Mr. Pitts, is one of Abraham Lincoln's, "I destroy my enemies when I make them my friends".  Try that one on for awhile and maybe you can make a difference.

Who Is Sophia Bush? One Tree Hill?

Ok, I will be the first to admit I have never heard of Sophia Bush, for a second I even thought she might be related to the other "Bush" family....  W-R-O-N-G!!  This was the final paragraph in a story on FOX about her.

“I will not vote for a candidate who thinks you can 'pray away the gay,' I will not vote for a candidate who thinks that he has more rights to my uterus than I do, I will not vote for a candidate who thinks that it's okay to dump toxic waste in the ocean,” she added. “I'm afraid for our country that people like this (current Republican candidates) could even be thought of as the president. I live in a country where I believe all men are created equal, not just wealthy white guys. I believe all men, all women, regardless of race, gender, socioeconomic background, you deserve the same rights. If that's not where our country is going, then I'll leave. I don't need to live here. I'm out! I'll go to Canada, peace! See you later.”

Hey what about wealthy black guys?  You already forget about the candidate you supported and campaigned for?  Hey Sophia, Obozo won, hear me?  He won.   So, puh-lease don't let the door hit ya in the ass on your way out.  America could use less ill informed quitters like yourself, might be a little harder to earn your "change" in Canadian television  and film, and that economy up there, Eh?    Oh, and we invite ya back when you grow up and have something important to say. Hhahahahahehehehe

House Bill 3261 and S968 , and censorship, my opinion.

The loudest voices, are the ones you hear screaming censorship.  It's kinda like a chain joke, you know where it starts with the 1st person, and by the time it makes a complete loop the content is jumbled and not even close to the initial story line.  Those hollering censorship are the ones who have not read HB3261, however with S968, I am opposed, due to the lack of due process for any accused site.  Due process is what the USA is built upon and it figures that a Vermont democrat would try to unhinge that aspect.  It also has had something like 36 revisions, that in itself is red flag.

First of all let me state that I am vehemently opposed to any form of censorship, the government has already gotten away with that, and trust me, the open records act doesn't do shit for us.  The law enforcement agencies will always want an unfair advantage and always remember "absolute power corrupts absolutely".  I am for retooling the house bill and for complete rejection of S968.

I have been burned by sites on the net and lost money with out any possible form of reimbursement.  I would like to find a way to stop it, but that's like trying to stop crime, it's gonna happen.  My suggestion would be that any form of commercial web site have proper documentation/registration or some way to hold the ownership accountable.  Right now that is impossible to do.  For the auction type of sites, I would say buyer beware/seller beware.  You know the risk and ask yourself to what extent your willing to take it.

All in all we need less government in our lives, I am opposed to pedophiles and sex offenders, but I also feel that any one that visits a porn site has the right to privacy, I don't think the govt should be able to listen in on my phone calls and read my emails with out a court order/ warrant.  Then think about the lawsuits that either of these bills will eventually generate.  The truth is, the only winner in either of these as they are currently written, are the lawyers.  So ask yourself, "am I good with this"?  In the end you need to contact your representative either way.  For the people and by the people.  You want to have a say, get involved, because it is all about "we the people".

In response to Kathleen Parker

Happy Sunday to everyone, even you Kathleen.  The weather is great and all is well!  I just had to cut and paste the text body of my email to Kathleen Parker, columnist for the Washington Post.  I saw it in today's Houston Chronicle, the daily leftist rag we are stuck with here in H - Town.  So with out further B.S. here is how I responded.

" Ms. Parker,

I hope you never fall out of your ivory tower. I am a blogger and I have emailed you before, you know, stuck my head out of the "cowardly comfort of my subterranean wormhole", with no response I might add. Your defense of MO is both predictable and sad. Looks like a bribe for a favor to me. Maybe you will get an invite to the next "Mad Hatter". Good luck to both you and Leonard Pitts on pointing out the continued "white racism" that keeps our great country from moving forward. Your sad and pathetic and to smart to recognize that fact. Quite frankly, I fail to see how you make a living with the drivel you write. The obozo era is about to end, and their socialist platform which you support. Yeah I know, go grab a vodka and a smoke, I know you need one about now. Happy New Year! The Carte..... er obozo era is dead!

I have never read a column by Ms. Parker where I thought, wow this makes sense, nice job.  On the other hand, when Pitts isn't slingin his white hatred, he can write some very articulate pieces.  I just think he could be touching many more people, if he were race neutral.  Unfortunately, that will not sell news papers, which that and money are what it is all about anyway.

Just some thoughts.

Romney don't know Schmitt!

How bad can it get?  Have ya ever read the bible.........?  Sitting here eating twizzlers and slammin "Miller High Life", doin the reflective thang.  It seems like so much weird shit has happend this past year.  Now here in an election year haze and an alcohol buzz, I can't remember shit.  Why????   It takes courage to spill your inner most thoughts onto a digital format.  Not to mention that my "thoughts" are not generic mainstream.

2012
I am not one to usually go "all crazy" on New Years resolutions, having said that, I'm gonna make one.  I resolve to be less volatile this year.  Yeah, it might be stupid to try it in an election year but WTH?  It will be interesting.

Moving on.... I CANNOT believe that Schmitt Romney is leading the pack, mr. teflon head.  Between him and Rick Perry, they are a hairdressers wet dream.  Can you say helmet head?  I tell you what, since the burnout of Mr. Cain, all of these caucuses (doesn't that sound like a dirty word?  Go wash your caucus) are  just silly.  Funny how states like New Hampshire and Massachusetts are in the forefront.  Tell ya the truth, I don't think any of the people in the North Eastern seaboard states, really have an inkling about the rest of the US.  Sorry folks but that is my gut feeling.  Why?  Because they are not population growth centers.  I was in a retail store and talking to a woman from Massachusetts.  She was in Spring shopping and had visited some areas in Northwest Houston and outlying suburbs.  Her comment was that she had NEVER seen anything like the growth and construction going on.  She was totally unaware, TOTALLY!  So, my point is my good people.  If all you know is what you hear or read from the mainstream media, I am positive I do NOT want you having any defining role in my future, period...end of story.

Manipulation is the name of the game for the media.  I am here to tell you that the left are in the middle of a manipulative war.  Obozo is a lame duck already, the rats are fleeing and as I predicted earlier, the "tell all" books about the scum in the Whitehouse are starting to appear.  These people on the left are very intelligent, they have NO ethics or moral compass, but they are extremely intelligent.

So what am I trying to say?  Ok, they are trying to convince the GOP who the best candidate is to run against Obozo.  Yes they are doing so through the media.  Cain was a perfect example, he scared the hell out of them.  He is black, articulate and experienced with business savvy.  He had his own ideas and a strong personality, you know, everything Obozo is not.  The thing with Cain were the accusations.  I absolutely have no idea if he was guilty, obviously something occurred or there would have been no "settlements".  The media knows that if something is printed or aired enough times, the public starts to believe it as truth.  Such is the sad story of Herman Cain, his family was being destroyed by what the media suggested.  There is no accountability in the media, zero, and that is unfortunate.  I don't blame Cain for withdrawing, family is beyond all, it's just a shame that we lost out on the chance of great leadership with core values.

Truth be told, the conservative field is about as thin as the hair on my head.  I really do not have a candidate at this time.  I know it will not be Romney, I doubt it will be Perry, Paul is a question mark and  and Huntsman, just plain old hell no.  Paul concerns me though and I do not know enough about Santorum.  I guess right now all I can say is, God help us!
